divdio Sheets for Excel
History, diff, lint, assertions and a disclosure scan for the Excel workbook you already have open. The add-in works on the file where it is, in SharePoint, OneDrive or on your disk, and never converts, moves or uploads it.
What it does
- History and diff. Every save of the workbook, who made it and what changed, cell by cell, with a button that jumps to each changed cell. Files that came from divdio Sheets show their full divdio history and blame.
- Scan. What the workbook would disclose before you send it: hidden sheets, rows and columns, comments, document properties, pivot caches, links to other workbooks, hidden names and personal data in cells. Each finding has a one-click fix, made as an ordinary Excel edit you can undo.
- Lint. Formula drift, typed overrides with no reason, hard-coded numbers, volatile functions, deep IFs, long formulas, error cells and hidden dependencies, with a score for the workbook.
- Assertions. The checks a model must pass (equals, is between, has no errors, has no blank cells, adds up to), kept inside the workbook so they travel with the file.
- Open in divdio. Open the same file in divdio Sheets, in place.
Get it
- From Excel: Home, Add-ins, search for "divdio Sheets for Excel", then Add.
- For your whole organisation: an admin deploys it from the Microsoft 365 admin centre (Settings, Integrated apps). See Support for the steps.
It runs in Excel on Windows, Mac and the web. Scan, Lint and Assertions work without an account; History and Open in divdio use your organisation's divdio workspace.
